Gino Ferrin, President
Led by our President, Gino Ferrin, with 25 years in the field of leadership & management development, we are a team more passionate & determined than ever. This wonderful, and at times unpredictable, journey has seen Gino hold progressively senior positions within the corporate world culminating with starting his own, and long aspired leadership organization, Ferrin Leadership Development in 2005. Gino has a contagious passion and motivation that enables all aspiring leaders. Since beginning his practice, he has partnered with well over 100 companies, within a wide scope of industries, including conducting well over 1000 workshops in Canada, the US & Europe. Gino has worked in 30 states in the US & 9 provinces in Canada. Leadership of people has truly never been more profoundly needed as it is today. The data on the importance and impact of leadership is overwhelming in illustrating the need for people not merely to be smart (IQ), and skilled, but equally wise and emotionally strong (EQ) in their vast abilities to successfully manage human beings through immense change and challenge. Managers (leaders) account for 70% of the variance in team employee engagement (Gallup 2024). Gino leads us each day to bring out the very best of who and what we are, in order to meet and exceed our clients’ needs. This is where we get our heartbeat, our purpose and our motivation.

Gino Ferrin President
Gino’s obvious passion stems from early life experiences, in playing the highest levels of sport (soccer & hockey), even then recognizing how leadership makes an enormous difference on how people behave and perform beyond merely IQ and talent. This sporting and leadership passion led to attaining a full scholarship at the University of Maryland where Gino went on to star for the Maryland Terrapins Men’s NCAA Division 1 Soccer team, leading them to their most ever wins in a season (at the time) and setting a record for most assists by an individual player in a single season that still stands today.
Through his athletic experiences and love of learning, he was supported in his journey through an upbringing that emphasized working hard and smart, along with values of honesty, humility, patience, and sacrifice. This foundation serves him to this day, in building genuine and highly productive relationships with his client partners, through mutual trust and respect, along with an intense desire to see his partners succeed.
With his vast treasure chest of experience around developing positively impactful leadership programs, Gino’s advanced communication, presentation, consulting and coaching skills assist organizations in continuously improving their performance by fulfilling their leadership potential. His vast industry knowledge and polished consulting skills help him create positive long-lasting relationships with exemplary results for his client partners. Married to his high school sweetheart for over 33 years, they have two beautiful, now adult, children. Gino has also found the time to volunteer coach elite youth soccer in fulfilling his pay-it-forward philosophy. With any free time, he truly loves to be in the kitchen, cooking for family and friends while enjoying interesting conversations around the table. He very much enjoys reading, travel, exploring, and seeing life through different lenses.
